This weekend

…I had to leave work early on Friday to fetch Child2 who had a bit of a bug.

I cleaned my house.

Ran a few errands AND did some business at the bank.

Had a late Saturday lunch with my MIL.

Had a date with my Love. We went to see Material. What a sweet movie. Seriously. Go see it.

Ate delicious moist chocolate cake.

Visited my Mommy darling.

Had my in-laws over for lunch on Sunday.

Made a different kind of potato salad which was a hit.

Watched Kung-Fu Panda with my boys and briefly fell asleep..

Took my son to Church in the evening.

Watched 2 episodes of Vampire Diaries.

This weekend…

I did not read. I did not craft. I did not knit. I hardly napped.

But. It’s OK. Because I had a really good time connecting with people who I love truly, deeply, madly.

How are you? How was your weekend? Or more importantly, how was your Monday?

Sounds like an awesome connecting weekend.

    Just what you needed.

I’m going to do a blog post about mine – just need to find the time!

And yes, so want to see Material!

I had a long weekend – Friday and Monday – because I worked right throught the previous weekend towards a deadline. On Friday Craig and I went to the movies, on Saturday I had my hair cut and my feet tended (pedi), on Sunday it was Craig’s birthday so we went to the in-laws for lunch. My MIL had just come back from visiting Craig’s sister in Taiwan and she brought me two lovely necklaces. On Monday I went to the library and relaxed.

I would’ve loved to have your weekend – as you know I spent mine working and learning my new business – brain is fried but in a good way ;)

My Monday was ROUGH! First day back in the saddle, of course none of the instructions I left were followed or arrangements honoured. By 12:00 I was ready to kick a dent in something. Everybody is now more or less whipped back into shape, but some of the newbies were looking at me with the big deer-caught-in-the-headlights eyes because I tore them all a new ear.
